R-32 PT table
The table below is where pressure and temperature are matched for R-32 service work. Use the pressure side to read the corresponding saturation temperature, then compare that reading with the equipment instructions and the job condition.
- Pressure in psig and temperature in F
- Metric view
- Source and revision
If you need a broader refrigerant reference, see the full PT chart index or go back to the HVAC Refrigerant Log home page.
Bubble point and dew point
For blend refrigerants, the chart method can depend on whether you are checking superheat or subcooling. R-32 guidance should be confirmed from the chart source you are using, and any glide note should be read before servicing.
- Glide
For handling guidance that applies to service work, see A2L refrigerant handling.
Using the R-32 chart with gauges
Read the gauge, match it to the saturation temperature on the chart, and compare that result with the system target. Use the equipment data plate first, then verify your reading with the service method you are applying.
- Superheat
- Subcooling
If you want a quick way to compare readings, use the superheat and subcooling calculator.
R-32 safety and handling notes
Before servicing, review the refrigerant handling notes for the system and the chart source. If the refrigerant is classified as an A2L, follow the handling guidance that applies to that class and recover refrigerant with the proper equipment and procedures.
- Safety class
- Recovery
More service notes are collected in the A2L refrigerant handling guide.
Compare with other refrigerants
When comparing R-32 with another refrigerant, use the matching chart for each refrigerant rather than assuming the same pressure at the same temperature. Check the data plate and chart source for the exact system you are servicing.
For another chart reference, return to the PT chart index or visit the waitlist page for the HVAC Refrigerant Log app.
